Shafto Lane accessible toilets

Location: There are accessible toilets in both the male and female toilets, located within the ground level foyer area of an office building, adjacent the central café alfresco area.

Summary:
 Difficult to find as the building has no apparent name and there is no directional signage.
 Male and female accessible toilets which are both small inside with the basin close to the toilet pan.
 Limited circulation space within the corridor leading to the toilets.

Opening hours: The toilet is open during office hours.

Path of travel: Path of travel along Shafto Lane is level. During the day, when the cafes are open, alfresco seating may obstruct access to the toilets for larger wheelchairs. Seating and tables are moveable.

Signage: There is no directional signage to the accessible toilets. There is signage on the toilet doors, once inside the office foyer.

Toilets: The entry door to the office foyer is heavy to open and slow to close, with a clear open width of 810mm.

The doors off the corridor into the male and female toilet blocks are firm to open, slow to close and have a circular door knob. They have a 760mm clear open width. There is limited circulation space inside both doors and a small wheelchair only could gain access into these toilets.
