Unisex Accessible Toilets (State Library)
Location: In the State (Alexander) Library Building
and part of the Perth Cultural Centre. Situated in Northbridge between
Francis Street and the James Street Mall. Summary:
The unisex
accessible toilet is on the ground floor within the library (key
required), all other accessible toilets are in male and female blocks.
The unisex
accessible toilet has a separate baby change area. Opening hours: Monday to Thursday 9am to 8pm
Friday 9am to 5pm
Saturday 10.30am to 5pm
Sunday 10.30am to 5pm

the key is available from the main security desk. Includes baby
change facilities.

Accessible toilets All toilets have a similar configuration. External access: Path of travel to the toilet
is barrier free. There are 760mm wide doors with D handles on either
side of a large airlock that could accommodate all styles wheelchairs. Toilet door: 770mm wide with a lever handle. Both
the external and toilet doors have small locking snibs. Pan height: 520mm Basin height: 860mm  
Lighting: The light in the Francis Street toilet
has a blue light Baby change table: The bench is fixed at 860mm
high
