An open air single level car park. Summary: Vehicle access from: Terrace Road Accessible bays: Four accessible bays all 3200mm wide, two close to the car park entrance and the other two close to the corner of Terrace Road and Victoria Avenue. Pedestrian access: Access from the bays close to the entrance is via the vehicle entrance. As there are no kerb ramps to the pavement wheelchair users have to travel along the road to the entrance to Terrace Road Car Park ‘B’ where there is a kerb ramp up to the footpath. When travelling to Barrack Square kerb ramps at the corner of Governors Avenue and Riverside Drive may be difficult for some to negotiate. Access from the bays closest to the corner of Terrace Road (opposite the Family Court) and Victoria Avenue have a kerb ramp onto uneven slab paving that leads to a grassed area. Payment machines: Drivers must display payment receipts on dashboard. Payment machines are all on footpath level with no kerb ramps. Payment method: Machines take coins only. Signage: There is no directional signage to accessible bays. Toilets: There are male and female toilets, but no accessible toilets.
