Closest public transport:
Bullet Red CAT stop 12 or 13 on Hay Street
Bullet St George’s Terrace is a main route through the City for buses

Closest accessible toilet:
Central Law Courts, between Irwin Street and Pier Street on St George’s Terrace

Signage: Australia Post symbols on glass walls visible from main thoroughfare. A large, clear Australia Post sign is located above the main entrance of the shop.

External access: Entry off St George’s Terrace footpath. Gentle slope up to double automatic sliding doors and foyer of International House.

Main entrance: Automatic sliding doors off the foyer of International House. Security pedestals divide the entrance into 920mm and 950mm widths.

Internal: Level, and generally barrier free except for the card displays. Most aisles are wide and generally accessible to all wheelchair users. The card displays are narrow with aisles of 690mm and 730mm.

Displays: Retail shelves are located both at sitting and standing heights. There is clear, illuminated informative signage above some retail sections.

Desks: There are two desks for customers to write on at a standing height of 970mm. White and yellow pages are provided below one of the desks and are accessible from sitting height with knee clearance.

Payment / service counters: At standing height. Aisles along the counters are generally accessible for most wheelchair users. There is no ‘Better Hearing Card’ on display.

Cueing system: Counter service operates by the customer service staff calling ‘next please’. There are roped queuing lines and no visual prompts.
