Signage: There is no directional signage to the
accessible bays. Bays may be difficult to identify as there are
no blue ground markings and the sign at the head of the bay will
be obscured by the parked car.
Lift: Directional signage can be seen from the
Hay Street footpath above the walkway leading to the lift.
The lift is 1810mm x 1350mm, with a door width of 960mm. Direction
of travel information is visually displayed both internally and
externally with no tonal or auditory information. External buttons
are at 1390mm high and internal controls at 1510mm high.
Pedestrian access to Hay Street: There is an 1160mm wide path leading
from the Hay Street footpath to the lift lobby and cashier.
Parking Attendant:
On site: all the time
Counter: The counter is at standing height and has a clear perspex
window with speech holes at standing height. The attendant has a
clear view to the outside of the booth.
Access to attendant: Attendant booth is located along the pedestrian
walkway to Hay Street. There is enough circulation space to accommodate
users of all wheelchair types.
Pay machines: No parking machines at this car park.
