and Murray Street Summary: Signage: All signage is clear, easy to read and in good colour contrast. External access: Direct access off the wide Hay Street footpath. Entrance door: The 1800mm wide, manually opened doubled glass doors are heavy to open and fast to close. They are outlined with fluorescent lighting and have large D style handles. There is a short internal ramp at the entrance door with a gradient of 1:12. Internal: The floor surface is tiled and music is played at a low level. There is sufficient space for all styles of wheelchairs to move throughout the café. Food counter: Ingredients for selection are displayed at a high sitting height. The self serve drinks dispenser is located opposite the food counter and the controls are at a high standing height. Staff are available to assist. Payment counter: At a sitting height. Seating: 430mm high moveable chairs. Tables have a central pedestal and are 730mm high. Menu: A blackboard style menu that is easy to read with large print. The menu is backlit.
