Accessible parking: Accessible parking is available in the Queen Street Car Park.
Accessible street entrance: There are 13 steps, each 150mm high, from Murray Street up to the hotel foyer. A restricted use lift is provided adjacent the stairs.
Restricted use lift: A lift adjacent to the main stairs provides access to the hotel foyer and Bin 305 Restaurant. The lift car size is 1000mm (width) x 1500mm (depth) and is open for public use. A staff member does not have to be present to operate the lift. The lift has a D handle to pull open the access door, which is a half door at the top and a full door at the base. The clear open door width is 900mm, it is light to open and closes slowly. There is no clearance on the latch side of the door at the top. The lift has a constant pressure toggle switch to drive the lift.
Main entrance: The most accessible entrance is off the hotel foyer, where the door is wide and propped open.
Internal: The restaurant has circulation space suitable for larger wheelchairs. Tables are moveable and have a central pedestal with knee clearance.
Bar, counter and payment: Counters are at standing height and side access would be required for wheelchair users. Payment is by credit card, EFTPOS and cash.
Menu: Table menus are provided. Menus have brown lettering on a white background, however colour contrast is not strong.
Lighting: Natural light during the day.
Acoustics: Noisy at peak times.
Signage: Where provided, it is clear and easy to read.
Accessible toilet:
An accessible toilet is located within the restaurant. It
is well signed with the international symbol of access. The corridor
leading to the toilet provides good circulation space for all wheelchair
types.
