Murray Street) Summary: Opening hours (public access): Public transport: The number 29 Red CAT bus stop is on Murray Street. Pedestrian access from the CAT bus stop to Etro Café is along King Street. The pathway is lit for night use. The nearest train station is Perth which is a considerable distance from the venue, however easily access by the Red CAT. Universal drop off bay: There are three 15 minute set down bays on King Street which are suitable for cars, or taxis. Accessible parking: There are six accessible parking bays located at His Majesty's Car Park on Murray Street. Access from car park: Pedestrian access is unobstructed along King Street. The pathway is lit for night use. Restaurant: A café / restaurant which offers table service to both alfresco and inside tables. There is a take-away bar on King Street, but this is very high (high standing height). Entrance: Large step at the front, main entrance.
An alternative level entrance is available off the vehicular / pedestrian
access way next to Etro Café (to lower level seating and
payment counter), or via the side access way and slightly narrow
(770mm) rear door (upper level seating). The access way to the side
of Etro Café leads to the King Street Arts Centre. Internal: There is space for a user of a small to medium sized wheelchair to move around the restaurant. Space between chairs is approximately 1000mm. Tables and chairs are moveable if required. The tables provide good leg clearance with a central pedestal. Chairs do not have armrests. Payment: Payment counter is at standing height, located on the lower level of the restaurant. EFTPOS and cash payment accepted. Menu: Menu is in an easy-to-read, but small lettering. The menu has good colour contrast. Lighting: Ambient lighting. Acoustics: Noisy, due to wooden floors. Accessible toilet: Nearest unisex accessible toilet is located behind Etro Café, accessed via the upper level of the restaurant (covered, via a step and narrow door) or the side access way (uncovered, inclined road). The lighting along the rear corridor and inside the toilet is dull. The toilet is open during trading hours of the restaurant. - entrance 770mm
