Wesley Arcade

Location: 93 William Street Perth. This L shaped arcade is on the west side of William Street and links Hay and William Streets, behind Wesley Church.

Summary:
 Level access from William and Hay Street, level access into shops and a lift to the upper level.
 Sign boards at either end of the arcade have large easy to read font, but are reflective in nature.
 Building lines on both sides are cluttered with displays and seating.

Closest accessible parking:
 His Majesty’s Car Park (CPP) (4 bays)

Drop off Bay: There is a 15 minute Universal bay suitable for cars and vans opposite
the Hay Street entrance.

Closest public transport:
 Blue CAT stop 17 William Street
 Red CAT stop 17 Hay Street

Signage: Sign boards at either end of the arcade are high and have large easy to read font, however may be difficult to read due to their reflective nature.

External access:
William Street: level access
Hay Street: level access
Wesley Courtyard: A set of automatic glass sliding doors half way along the arcade open out into the Wesley courtyard. Level access.

Internal: Sufficient circulation spaces to accommodate users of all wheelchair sizes and lift access to all levels. The flooring is tiles.

Retail: Some shops have a small lip at the front entrance and the building line on both sides is cluttered with retail displays, signage and café seating.

Seating: There is no seating along the arcade except for café seating, and seating in the courtyard.

Lift: Lift provides access from basement car park to ground level, level 1 (arcade) and level 2 (Uniting Church / Wesley Mission offices). The lift is 1400mm x 1400mm, door width is 880mm. External controls are at 1380mm and internal between 1170mm - 1300mm - both sets provide good colour contrast. No verbal or tonal announcements.
