The iCity Volunteer Hosts help visitors discover the City of Perth. They staff the City of Perth Information Kiosk located in the Murray Street Mall at the intersection of Forrest Place and are on hand every day to answer questions about the city.

Equipped with all the latest information on events, activities, shopping and attractions in the City of Perth, the hosts also supply free resources including handy city maps and self-guided tour brochures.

Kiosk standard operating hours:

  • Monday to Thursday 9.30am - 4.30pm
  • Friday 9.30am - 8pm
  • Saturday 9.30am - 4.30pm
  • Sunday and Public Holidays 11am – 3.30pm (except Good Friday, Anzac Day and Christmas Day)

Specialty Tours

Why not get your visit to the city off to a flying start with an orientation walking tour, or learn more about the history, arts and culture of Perth on one of four specialty tours of the city? All tours are free and are led by iCity volunteer tour guides. The tours are up to 90 minutes in duration and you meet the tour guide at the kiosk 5 minutes prior to departure.

Orientation walking tours are terrific ways to get to familiarise yourself with the City before embarking on your own adventures. Monday to Saturday 11am and Sunday 12noon.

All tours depart from the iCity Information Kiosk. Bookings are available for groups of 15 - 20.

You will help people discover and enjoy the pleasures of the City and be a significant ambassador for Perth.

You will welcome interesting and challenging questions about Perth, provide wonderful customer service, and keep fit at the same time.
