A Message from our Presenting Partners
Lotterywest
For 75 years Lotterywest has supported thousands of events that encourage participation in community life. For 25 of those years, the community has gathered along the shores of the Swan River and on hilltops throughout the metropolitan area to share in our national day, culminating in Skyworks.
We value occasions that bring our community together and Lotterywest is proud to support the Australia Day celebrations. Our support is only made possible because of the many people who buy Lotto tickets and scratchies. We thank them and you for sharing in this celebration and creating special moments that make WA a fantastic place to live.

Lotterywest Chairman
Austereo
Austereo has been part of Skyworks since 1996 when it bought MIX 94.5 and PMFM (now 92.9).
MIX 94.5 – Perth’s top radio station for more than nine years – has been the official radio partner for the past six years. With its dominance in the broad 25-54 year demographic, MIX has been able to involve a huge number of Perth people in the event. Every year we ask our 480,000 listeners to help us put together the soundtrack and they respond with the passion this iconic Perth event deserves.
Our staff throw their heart and soul into the Skyworks event each year from organising listener events to the very important technological elements of the event to, most importantly, creating a sound track that adds a vital dimension to the fireworks and rocks Perth. At MIX 94.5 we love Skyworks. Happy 25th!

Channel Seven Perth
There are many things that Channel Seven in Perth prides itself on, but our involvement with the community is at the top of the list. This year Seven celebrates 50 years of service in Perth and no other media organisation can boast that it has stronger ties to the community.
Telethon, which is in its 42nd year in 2009, is a shining example of that commitment. So too is our long-standing involvement and support of the biggest Australia Day celebration in the nation, Lotterywest Skyworks. We congratulate the City of Perth, our consortium partners MIX 94.5 and Lotterywest and the people of Western Australia for this, the 25th annual Skyworks event.

General Manager, Channel Seven Perth
