Seeking Expressions of Interest
Summary
The City of Perth is seeking Expressions of Interest for a temporary public art installation in the City of Perth.
The budget available for the project is $15,000. There will be in-kind support available for the artist from City staff to assist with any permits or other procedural requirements, should they be needed.
Background
From 2003 – 2008 the City of Perth has run the 3 x 3 urban art project. This consisted of three installations by three separate artists over nine consecutive days and was focused on Forrest Place.
Since 2003 Forrest Place has been significantly activated and a revision of the program will see one work created with no limitation on the location, other than it should be within the central Perth area and, that its placement and construction complies with all relevant regulations and does not negatively impact on business and other users in the immediate vicinity.
