Alliance Manager Human Resources

A competitive market based salary plus vehicle allowance and up to 14.25% superannuation is offered on a negotiated 3 to 5 year term

The Manager Human Resources will play a significant role in developing and implementing the City’s new People Strategy and Workforce Plan. The role requires a positive approach to problem solving and outstanding interpersonal skills. Your ability to bring teams together and positively influence organisational culture will be highly valued.

As the ideal candidate, you will bring extensive knowledge of the Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework applicable to local government in Western Australia. You will also value the role that human resources can play in helping the City achieve its broad strategic objectives.

Position Objectives

  • Provide leadership to the organisation to adopt excellent people management practices
  • Provide leadership and management of the Human Resource Service Unit to deliver human resource services aligned to business needs
  • Partner with the General Managers and Alliance Managers to achieve the outcomes of the City's People Strategy and Workforce Plan
