City of Perth Market Research Trader Panel
The City of Perth delivers various marketing campaigns throughout the year to generate economic benefits for the city and its stakeholders, to encourage visitation, and to enhance the reputation of the city as a destination for business, culture, entertainment, dining and retail.
The City has commenced a program of comprehensive evaluations of each campaign to measure success and ensure campaigns deliver return on investment to all stakeholders involved.
Alfresco Dining Survey results
The City of Perth has over 1,400 registered food businesses within the local government area but less than 20 per cent of those businesses have a registered alfresco permit. This represents a significant opportunity for the City to help the sector drive activation and vitality in streets, malls and laneways.
In order to modernise the City’s Alfresco Dining Local Law 2009 and Alfresco Dining 2000 policy, a survey was undertaken to seek community feedback on the future of alfresco dining.
The Lighting Strategy provides a comprehensive framework for future lighting initiatives for both public and private developments. The aims and objectives of this strategy are consistent with the international LUCI (Lighting Urban Community International) Charter, of which City of Perth was the first Australian capital city to become a member.
