City of Perth Parking will make free parking available to patrons at its Point Fraser, Fire Station, Terrace Road and Plain Street sites.

Chair of Commissioners Eric Lumsden said the free parking will be from 6am to 1pm on ANZAC Day.

“This initiative aims to provide people with the opportunity to attend the Commemorative March to show their support, give thanks and pay their respects to past and present Australian Defence Force members," Mr Lumsden said.

“By providing free parking, the City wants to encourage as many people as possible to line the streets for the annual ANZAC Day tradition and express their gratitude for the men and women who have, or continue to serve our country.”

The ANZAC Day Commemorative March will begin at 9.15am, following the Dawn Service and Gunfire Breakfast.

The Commemorative March will step off from the corner of Barrack Street and St Georges Terrace, heading east along St Georges Terrace, turning right onto Victoria Avenue and into Langley Park to disperse.
