“Most of the community has grown up with Telethon, and know of the great work they do to combat life threatening childhood diseases,” Mr Lumsden Said.
“The annual Telethon Weekend has been a Western Australian institution for the past 50 years, and it’s important as a Capital City to support this vital cause for children of WA.
“Along with a cheque from the City, City of Perth Parking has provided in-kind support to Telethon including security, discounted parking rates for attendees and parking passes for support staff and volunteers.”
Telethon Weekend 2018 wraps up tomorrow at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.
