The 2023 City of Perth election took place this evening and the successful candidate for Lord Mayor has been announced as Basil Zempilas (subject to confirmation from the Western Australian Electoral Commission).

Counting is currently underway for the four vacant City of Perth Councillor positions and will be announced tomorrow.
