Pay your rates

1. Up front payment of the total amount (There are no additional costs for this option). Full payment 35 days after the date of issue. 
2. Two Instalments (This option incurs a $35 administration fee and a 5.5% per annum instalment interest charge)
   All arrears, half the rates, waste management charges, administration fee and instalment interest charge are payable within 35 days of the rate notice being issued. The balance will be payable approximately 2 months later, as indicated on the notice.  
3. Four Instalments (This option incurs a $35 administration fee and a 5.5% per annum instalment interest charge)
   The City also offers a four instalment plan. All arrears, one quarter of the rates, waste management charge, administration fee and instalment interest charge is payable within 35 days of the rate notice being issued. The balance will be payable in three equal instalments approximately 2 months apart, as indicated on the notice).

Delays can sometimes be experienced when paying your rates bill near the due date due to the large volumes of payments being received. If you experience any issues with your payment, please call the rates section on 9461 3296 for assistance.

Late payment interest of 5.5% per annum is charged on all Rates and Service charges and 7% per annum on the Emergency Service Levy, on all payments outstanding after their due date.
