To ensure a positive and respectful experience for everyone, the following guidelines apply to users engaging with the above pages.
- Respect: Treat fellow users with kindness and respect. Avoid offensive language, personal attacks, or discriminatory remarks. Derogatory, racist, homophobic, or sexist language will not be tolerated.
- Relevance: Keep your comments, posts, and messages relevant to the City of Perth and its activities. Off-topic content may be removed at the discretion of the page administrators.
- No spam: Refrain from spamming, advertising, or promoting personal/business interests unrelated to the city.
- Privacy and Confidentiality: Respect the privacy of others and refrain from sharing personal or confidential information on the page. This includes private contact details, sensitive data, or any information that violates privacy laws.
- Constructive Feedback: We welcome feedback, suggestions, and constructive criticism about city services and operations. However, please express your opinions respectfully and provide constructive suggestions for improvement.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure that your comments and interactions comply with all applicable laws, including copyright, defamation, and intellectual property laws. Any content that violates these laws will be removed.
- Report Inappropriate Content: If you come across any content that violates these guidelines or is otherwise inappropriate, please report it to the page administrators. Your assistance helps us maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all.
Users who do not comply with these social media community guidelines will be blocked at the absolute discretion of the City of Perth.
We monitor our social media channels from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (excluding public holidays). Outside of these business hours, our staff do not moderate comments.
