Hoardings and Gantries
Hoarding Applications
Documentation Required:
- Completed Hoarding Application Form
- 2 site plans of the area affected (to scale),
- Application to Obstruct Road or Footpath
(A separate permit is required should the road/footpath/verge be obstructed during
assembly/dismantling of the hoarding. Please contact the City’s Approval Services Unit on
(08) 9461 3411 for further information.
Fees:
$1.00 per square metre per month or part thereof (minimum fee $85.00).
Works Bond:
Works Bond payable is $500; (May not be applicable if a works bond has been paid as part of a building licence application).
An administration fee of $75 applies for all Works Bond.
Notes:
Please allow 5 full business days for processing. The City will contact you when the permit is ready to be picked up and you will be advised of the fees, which must be paid when collecting the permit.
Gantry Applications
Documentation Required:
- Completed Gantry Application Form
- 2 site plans of the area affected (to scale),
- Application to Obstruct Road or Footpath
(A separate permit is required should the road/footpath/verge be obstructed during
assembly/dismantling of the hoarding. Please contact the City’s Approval Services Unit on
(08) 9461 3411 for further information. - Every gantry application must be supported by certification from a practising professional engineer for structural adequacy.
