Protest, rally or march notification

Please complete this form if you wish to hold a public assembly, such as a rally, demonstration or protest in the public realm. The City does not approve or issue permits, however Protest, Rally or March Notifications enable the City to advise you if there are any potential conflicts with other planned activities.

Please be aware:

  • The City cannot supply power to Public Meetings (Protests/Rallies).
  • No generators are permitted under the City's Thoroughfares and Public Places Local Law 2017.
  • The City cannot grant vehicle access to parks or malls for Protests/Rallies/Marches.

 

If you are notifying for more than 1 day, please submit additional forms. If there are any issues with your proposed date, we will contact you.
