Citiplace Childcare Centre
The City of Perth is committed to the delivery of high quality occasional and long day child care at the Citiplace Childcare Centre, a unique and purpose built inner city facility. The building is owned and maintained by the City of Perth and has been in operation since July 1989, with all carers employed by the City of Perth.
Located in the central City Station Complex on the corner of Barrack and Wellington Streets, the Centre is easily accessible by train, Transperth and CAT bus services, and the Citiplace Carpark (entrance off Roe Street). The central location allows family members working in the city to visit at any time during the day and are welcome to join in the program, have lunch with the children or attend excursions.
The Centre offers two services:
|Citiplace long day care||7.30am to 5.30pm
Monday to Friday
|Citiplace occasional care||8.15am to 5.15pm
Monday to Friday
Reception hours are 7.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Citiplace Childcare Centre believes in strong and healthy relationships based on trust. Relationships are nurtured by parents and educators sharing responsibility and working together, leading to the successful development of individual children.
The Centre provides a warm, safe and secure environment and is managed in a calm, considered and reassuring manner at all times. All children have the capacity to initiate and strengthen their learning through play exploration and collaboration and each child is unique, valued and capable.
The diversity of all is encouraged, respected, appreciated and acknowledged. For further information about Citiplace Childcare Centre, phone (08) 9461 3540.
