Want to join global leaders in exploring the future of energy markets, geopolitics, energy innovation and technology?

The City is seeking Expressions of Interest from local businesses to participate in the City’s CERAWeek 2024 delegation to Houston USA, from 18-22 March 2024.

For all the details, see the attached flyer.

What is CERAWeek?

The City of Perth is a foundation member of the World Energy Cities Partnership - a group of 18 global cities focused on energy transition.

Last November, the City successfully hosted the World Energy Cities Partnership AGM and Conference, and to further build on the opportunities generated at that forum the Lord Mayor will lead a local delegation to CERAWeek, in Houston.

This prestigious event provides an unparalleled opportunity to join influential senior executives, government officials, thought leaders, academics, technology innovators, and financial minds. Their collective expertise fosters the development of innovative solutions to critical challenges concerning energy, environment, and climate.

More information on CERAWeek 2024 can be found here.

Why register for the City’s CERAWeek EOI?

To offset some of the costs of travel and attendance at CERAWeek, the City of Perth may assist with payment of your conference registration (estimated at AU$13,000) and some other costs, such as attendance at receptions and shared on-ground transport.

How to register

To be eligible for funding assistance for your participation in CERAWeek, your business would need to be involved in the energy transition field. It would also be desirable if your business is located within the City of Perth and if you have or are working on a relevant project that will raise the profile of the City of Perth, and more broadly Western Australia.

Expressions of interest to be part of the City's delegation to CERAWeek should be a one-page submission that addresses the above criteria and highlights how your attendance will benefit the City.

Submissions should be emailed to the Planning and Economic Development team at PED@citvofperth.wa.gov.au by no later than 5pm on Friday 26 January 2024.
