Pier Street Car Park retail enhancement
The Pier Street Car Park Retail Enhancement Project was completed in February 2026.
Designed to help revitalise the local area, the works included a modernised ground-floor retail space and enhanced car park lobby.
The Australian Institute of Language and Further Education (AILFE) will operate its vocational culinary program from the revitalised space, creating a hub of culinary learning and hospitality, including a café that will be open to the public.
The City’s base-build works are now complete. Fit-out of the internal spaces will be completed in the coming months. The new college and public café are expected to open in July 2026.
