  • Act Belong Commit

The City of Perth is a community partner of the Act Belong Commit (ABC) health promotion campaign.

The campaign is coordinated by Mentally Healthy WA and aimed at preventing the onset of psychosocial problems by encouraging people to look after their own psychosocial wellbeing, as well as raising awareness. The ABC campaign encourages everyone to do things to keep mentally healthy by committing to the ABC guidelines for positive mental health:

    • Act – keep mentally, physically, socially and spiritually active.
    • Belong – keep connected to friends and family, get involved in groups, in local community activities.
    • Commit – commit to an interest or a cause, set goals to aim for; become volunteer, challenge yourself.
